Start Guide
Welcome to Time Fencer by quickgrowth, LLC. Please take some time to familiarize yourself
with Time Fencer’s features so you can make the most of your investment.
Overview of Features
Time and
Settings: Enter database file location, company name,
employee name or ID number, and the frequency that Time Control will request an
update.
Time Control: Main control for
adding updates and access to all of the other features of Time Fencer.
Activity Log: Editing for day by
day activity.
Time
Sheet Report: Displays a printable report of activity and
the ability to create a comma delimitated exportable files that are combatable
with most spread sheet software systems including Excel and popular accounting
systems.
Information
Inputs: Add new clients or projects, and work
information into Time Fencer’s tracking system.
Status Bar
Access: Allows fast access to Time Fencer.

Time and
Settings is where you personalize Time Fencer to work for you.
- Allows recording on either
client or project work
- Enter a unique employee name or
ID
- Set the time capture frequency
for your type of work
- Set the number of days to hold
your time keeping records
- You may choose to share the
same database file with other Time Fencer users
- Control database performance by
deleting old records and compacting the database

Control is where you document what you worked.

- Close all programs
- Place CD in CD-ROM drive
- If setup doesn’t start
automatically choose run from the Start button and type in “D:\setup.exe”
where D is the drive letter for the CD-ROM
- Once installed choose Start
button, Programs, quickgrowth, and Time Fencer
